  • Pop Culture Ponderings

If Thurston Howell III was so wealthy why were he and Lovey taking a three hour cruise with "common" folk?

I wonder if he was having an affair? With Ginger? MaryAnn? Possibly the Professor? Or perhaps it was Lovey having the affair.

    Thoughts?

  • I can see how the Howell's could afford the tour, even if they were slumming.  But how did Mary Ann get on that boat?

    Cut-offs and a gingham half-shirt for a wardrobe.

She was po' folk.  Even if she could come up with S.S. Minnow tour money, she sure as hell wouldn't spend it there.

Hmmm...  I think that there may be a plot hole here.

    (Insert dripping sarcasm...)

  • Mary Ann was a mule. Running dope from Bolivia. Those weren't knockers in her shirt. That was contraband.

  • @blunt_force_mama - @Landlubber - I really think we should write a pilot for a re-visioned Gilligan's Island addressing these issues. Plus we could Somalian pirates, pirates are always good.

  • @PunkDiva - Count me in. But only if Ginger is a tranny.
