Phone interview down...
Live one to go. Next week. I feel like I rocked the phone...hopefully, will feel the same after the in-person interview.
I feel like I am on the precipice. As though this is my opportunity to get my life back. Not back on track, but back. The job won't be perfect, but it will be mine, and something I know I enjoy and can do well. Fingers still crossed!

My fingers are crossed too! (which makes it amazingly difficult to type, lemme tell ya)
@blunt_force_mama - I'm hoping that I got a little good Karma from that letter or maybe a little of your luck rubbed off (without you losing any, of course).
Knock 'em dead! (okay, not literally)
Good luck!
Good luck!! You will dazzle them. [ps-can you send me your address?]
Keep thinking positive!! Best of Luck on your job interview!!

good luck~!
I have my fingers crossed and you, as always, are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry I've been MIA ... I'm quite literally addicted to facebook. I've been spending all of my time over there. It has gotten so bad that I'm playing parent/child "No facebook until you post on your blog! No facebook until you answer your email! No facebook until you answer your fan mail! Then, and only then, may you access facebook, but I'm setting a timer!"
What personality defect?
ryc: It has only been inside the last 10 years that I even attempted Brussels sprouts and only inside the last 5 that I've actually started cooking them. Well, I can't get enough. They are BEYOND perfect when they are roasted, especially if you use peanut oil and treat them like fries and salt salt salt. I like sea salt ... and dried green peppercorns. For Thanksgiving I'm roasting them in bacon fat and [stolen from Bitten of the NYT] garlic and then tossing the roasted dish in Balsamic. I haven't decided how extravagant the Balsamic will be, but it is a nice acidic note to the sprouts.
Happy happy! I'm so glad to be back and it is great to see you!
